After a forty two year run, from the Battle Alley Saloon (1980 to 1982) to the Holly Hotel Comedy Club (1983 to 2020,) the cozy lower level Club has been "reimagined, renewed and revamped" for the all-new Alley Cat Club!
Three decades ago, the house band in the Saloon was the Battle Alley Boogie Band, a talented group of musicians who dubbed themselves “The Alleycats.” We continue to have guests at the Holly Hotel who remember seeing this group from the 80's.
Fast forward to our post-Covid, 1940's-inspired all new private club featuring live Jazz, Blues, Singers and Pianists. Stand-up Comedy with "A-List" comedians. New, fresh and exciting live entertainment performances from a myriad of professional entertainers. Watch our website for special evenings utilizing our intense new sound system with state-of-the-art equipment for classic "Bring your Vinyl" nights.
Our emphasis is on amazing craft cocktails and beverages, a "small bites menu" and numerous "pairing" with exquisite food and incredible bourbons, whiskeys, scotches, tequilas and so very much more.
Access to The Alley Cat Club is available ONLY for Holly Hotel Dining Club members and guests!
The Alley Cat Club will be open every Friday and Saturday evening from 6:00 PM to 11:00 with showtimes typically beginning at 8:00.

Ryan DeHues, a crooner who came of age with the Bublé/Robbie Williams crowd (signed to Pat Boone – yes, that Pat Boone’s label – at age 17) brings his talent for two nights to The Holly Hotel’s ALLEY CAT CLUB, starting at 8 PM, July 22-23. Ryan will be performing an evening of timeless adult standards and traditional pop classics.
Ryan will appear with MARLA MOORE for a medley of songs along with their pianist. If you were in the Alley Cat Club in October, you already know what’s in store for you!
“The best songs are the old songs, because if they weren’t the best they wouldn’t have been around long enough to become the old songs.” That’s Ryan’s favorite quote from famed big band leader Fred Waring – one he takes to heart! But that doesn’t mean he’s just another old-time big band singer, anything but that. Ryan DeHues is one of today’s new breed of great singers who give the old music new style with a modern flair and dynamic delivery. DeHues puts modal groove versions of Sublime into his act, right next to a Sinatra standard, followed by a gem resurrected from the back pages of Susanne Vega. Ryan is the epitome of suave yet exciting new artists that are giving new meaning to the classic songs of yesterday.
